Follow-up: Developing a formal V2G-ready label

On 13 October 2026, ElaadNL hosted a successful kick-off webinar on V2G labels, attracting 140 registrations from companies and organisations across Europe. During the webinar, an initial proposal was presented to provide greater clarity on the V2G functionalities supported by electric vehicles and charging stations. Since then, ElaadNL has received many responses from professionals and interested organisations, sharing their views, suggestions and questions.

ElaadNL once again invites market parties, grid operators, certification bodies and other stakeholders to work together on the next steps towards a V2G-ready label. The aim is to establish clear and consistent agreements on the use of terms such as V2G-ready and V2G-interoperable, so that end users know what they can expect from a product.

The online follow-up session on the development of the V2G-ready label will take place on Wednesday, 18 November, from 13:30 to 15:00 (UTC+2).
