DSO- Assessment
At ElaadNL, we inspect all unmanned (charging) objects with their own connection, from 1x6A to 3x80A, to the electricity grid on behalf of the grid operators. We do this specifically for charging objects and more generically for other unmanned objects in public spaces. These include lampposts, advertising columns and outdoor electrical cabinets.

Requirements
The grid operators have imposed requirements on all unmanned (charging) objects to ensure the safety of connections to the public grid. These requirements are divided by connection category, switched grid 1x6A, on fixed voltage 1x10A (unmetered) and 3x25A to 3x80A and for charging stations 3x25A to 3x80A. Click here to learn more about the requirements per connection category.

Assessment
Connecting an unmanned (charging) object to the grid requires a certificate as proof that it is a safe object. To obtain a certificate, an object can be submitted for an assessment. An inspection team of specialists from the grid operators assesses the object for compliance with the requirements.
